Participation and speech by Mr. Salimzoda A.A. the Chairman of the Board of the SUE "Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk"" at the Council Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium (SCO IBC)

On June 25, 2024, a Council meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium was held with the participation of the heads of member banks of the SCO IBC in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by the JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan, as the presiding bank.

Salimzoda Alijon Abdujalal, the Chairman of the Board of the SUE "Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk"" delivered a speech at this Council Meeting of the SCO IBC.

The Council meeting also featured discussions on the member banks' initiatives for expanding cooperation with the SCO IBC; exchanging of experience, professional retraining of specialists of the bank-members of the IBA, development and implementation of new forms of integration in order to increase the process of co-financing projects.

Moreover, at the end of the event, the heads of member banks of the SCO IBC signed the Minutes of the meeting and the Memorandum of Understanding on the financing of Environmental, social, and governance (ESG).

After the end of the main part of the event, bilateral negotiations of bank managers took place.
